Basic Floral Design

5-7 days of instruction

Classes are limited to 6 students at one time in order to ensure that each student receives ample individual attention.  Private classes are scheduled upon request at a rate of $25 per hour.

The school is open to students 24 hours a day and students may practice at their own pace outside class.  Individual sessions may be scheduled with the instructor after class hours if the student feels that they need extra attention.

Most students like to do between 3 and 7 hours of class per day.  It usually depends on if they live local or are from out of town.  Out of town students usually prefer to do the 1 week class with 7 hour work days.  In town students often choose to have class 2 or 3 days a week with 3 hour work periods.

There are 3 classes to choose from and there is an option to take a mock test at the end of class.  The cost for the test is $100 plus the cost of flowers. If you decide that you want to test, you can purchase your own flowers...or I can order them for you.  (Does not matter to me.)  The last class I had spent $60 on flowers for the test.

For students signing up for the all inclusive class:  Sleeping quarters and a full service kitchen are available on site at no additional charge for students wishing to stay at the school around the clock.
